New VPS OS templates
We now offer 3 new VPS hosting OS templates for your server.
We previously added AlmaLinux 9 but due to popular usage, AlmaLinux 8 is now available for deployment with a new VPS from Brontobytes.
While you can use AlmaLinux 8 as is, you also get the option to add the ever-greedy cPanel to it (OS template known as cPanel/WHM + AlmaLinux 8).
For those hoping to stick with CentOS, we have both bad and good news. Want to hear the bad news first? Good choice, we’ll start with the bad news. We no longer offer CentOS 7 since end of life (EOL) will be reached this coming June 30, 2024, and AlmaLinux 8 has replaced it. However, the good news is that we added the OS template CentOS Stream 9. Both CentOS Stream 8 and 9 are used by many live servers.
